Dietro la notte (2021)

Marta Colombi is head of security at a company that trades in diamonds and is about to make the last delivery of precious: the new owner of the company has in fact just fired her, as a woman. The next day she will leave for Dubai with an important cargo case. The woman is also about to lose ownership of the villa where she lives with her daughter Elena, but she has no intention of giving up. The night before the trip to Dubai someone breaks into the villa and Marta and her daughter Elena find themselves trapped in the shoe closet. A blatantly genre film, its originality, however, lies in having placed an ironic and decisive woman at the center of the story and a series of female figures who enter and leave the dynamics of sisterhood, continuing to overturn the expectations of the public. Excellent choice of the two main actors, Stefania Rocca and Fortunato Cerlino.
