Finalists Selection
Selected stories will serve as the source material for filmmakers in Phase 2 of the challenge.
🖊️ Story Criteria
Theme: No assigned theme. Just your story.
Word Count: Minimum 2,000 words
Origin: Must be original work written by the participant
Exclusivity: Stories previously published on Peliplat are allowed, stories previously published elsewhere online or in-print are not eligible.
🎉 Writer & Story Awards
Story Finalists: 10-15 story finalists will be selected at the end of phase 1. Each writer whose story is selected as a finalist will receive 1,000 LIGHT
Best Original Story: $1,000 USD awarded directly to the writer
Writers whose stories are selected for adaptation will also eligible for the following awards:
Best Film: $2,000 USD 20% awarded to the original story writer
Best Adaptation: $1,000 USD
